About the position

Kearney & Company is offering a Summer Internship Program for students pursuing degrees in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, and Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. This internship provides a dynamic experience that includes teamwork on federal client sites, opportunities for professional networking, and participation in a community service project. The program is hybrid, allowing interns to work from home or the company headquarters, and includes a week-long orientation and training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audits and IT audit-related work for federal government clients.
• Engage in teamwork on federal client sites based on assignment.
• Contribute to a company-wide community service project led by interns.
• Attend a week-long orientation and training program.
• Participate in company-wide events and social activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in an accredited college/university pursuing a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration with a focus in Accounting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. Secret security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
