About the position

The Summer 2025 Internship Program at Divergent offers engineering students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge technology company that specializes in the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS). Interns will work on various engineering projects that contribute to the development of advanced manufacturing solutions for the automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors. This program is designed to provide practical experience while fostering collaboration and innovation in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other engineering discipline.
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance, CA.
• 30+ hours of weekly availability.
• Attention to detail.
• Engineering problem-solving capabilities.
• Basic knowledge of engineering and equipment.
• Prior knowledge of analysis tools.
• Prior programming experience.
• Application of technical skills outside of the classroom (e.g., extracurricular projects, volunteering, personal projects, laboratory research, or prior internship/work experience).
• Ability to collaborate across different teams.
• Self-directed with a positive attitude.
