About the position
The Summer 2025 Internship at Wilton Re offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the life re-insurance industry. This 10-12 week program is designed to provide interns with meaningful project-based work, exposure to senior leadership, and professional development opportunities while working in a hybrid format from the Norwalk, CT office.
Responsibilities
- Participate in active Wilton Re projects
- Engage in community outreach projects
- Develop technical skills related to data analysis and software
- Collaborate with mentors and fellow interns
- Attend professional development sessions
Requirements
- Strong technical skills
- Ability to learn technology software and coding skills such as SQL database, VBA, and Microsoft Excel/Macro
- Experience with data analysis and data reconciliation
- Pursuing a Bachelor level degree in Actuarial Science or other Mathematic field of study
- Ability to work full time mid-May to August
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
