About the position
The Summer 2025 Resort Operations College Intern position at Marriott Vacations Worldwide offers a hands-on immersion experience in resort operations. Interns will work in various departments, gaining practical skills and knowledge while participating in operational duties and supplemental learning activities. This internship aims to prepare students for future career opportunities in hospitality management by providing exposure to different aspects of resort operations, including recreation, housekeeping, food and beverage, and safety and security.
Responsibilities
- Promote resort recreation activities and facilities to guests.
- Assist in planning and organizing activities for children and adults.
- Learn villa cleaning processes and room inspections in housekeeping.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand resort operations.
- Rotate through food outlets to learn front and back of house responsibilities.
- Conduct property walks and oversee safety in the safety and security department.
Requirements
- Full availability to work any shift including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Pursuing a college degree at any level or graduated within the past 6 months.
- Preferred degree in Hospitality or Business Management.
