The firm is seeking a Summer 2025 Risk Advisory Consultant specializing in Cybersecurity to join their team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position is designed for full-time students who are looking to gain experience in one of the fastest-growing consulting and accounting firms in the country. As a Risk Advisory Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on providing exceptional client service in the areas of risk and advisory. The role involves assessing client risks, developing strategies to compete in an ever-changing business environment, and helping clients achieve their goals and objectives through deep industry knowledge of risk, governance, internal audit, compliance, IT, and cybersecurity best practices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to think strategically about your clients' businesses, systems, and risks. You will work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and consult with them regarding risks and controls. The position offers a chance to build expertise in a variety of technologies, including cloud computing, mobile devices, Windows, UNIX, firewalls, databases, web-based applications, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. You will also assist with business development activities and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with other motivated professionals. Responsibilities

  • Assess client risks and develop strategies to compete in an ever-changing business environment.
  • Provide exceptional client service in the areas of risk and advisory.
  • Think strategically about clients' business, systems, and risks.
  • Develop solutions to problems and drive positive change for clients.
  • Build expertise in various technologies including cloud computing, mobile devices, and ERP systems.
  • Work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and consult on risks and controls.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a full-time student during the 2024/2025 school year in an Accounting, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or Finance related degree.
  • Availability to begin full-time employment in Summer 2025.
  • Outstanding academic performance with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Relevant internship, work experience, and/or involvement with a professional organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Availability to travel as needed for client projects.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
