About the position

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Risk Management Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside experienced professionals, learn about risk assessment, compliance, and safety protocols, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least three days a week in the office. Preference will be given to candidates who can participate for at least three months and work full-time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across company projects.
• Support the review and organization of risk management documentation, including insurance policies, safety reports, and compliance materials.
• Help track risk mitigation efforts and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct data entry and analysis to support risk assessment reports and presentations.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating risk assessment meetings and preparing necessary documentation.
• Participate in team discussions and training sessions to gain exposure to risk management best practices.
• Research and compile information on legal, financial, and operational risks to support decision-making.
• Support contract reviews and documentation tracking to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and internal communications for risk management initiatives.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, risk management, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic understanding of risk assessment, compliance, or safety procedures.
• Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management (AEC) industry.
