About the position

The Sales Intern position at The Kendall Group offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in sales within a supportive and employee-owned company. This 10-12 week paid internship is project-based, allowing interns to own and deliver projects that address gaps within the sales function, thereby driving tangible value for the business. Interns will work closely with sales professionals, receive mentorship, and have the chance to engage with senior leadership, all while contributing to meaningful work that impacts the organization and its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver a project or multiple projects from start to finish during the internship.
  • Address gaps within the sales function and drive tangible value for the business.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the internship coordination team.
  • Engage in a Kendall Charitable Giving Event to give back to the community.
  • Gain exposure to various business units and departments within the organization.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an associates, bachelor's or graduate degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong analytics and computer skills, including knowledge of common software packages and data analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
