The Summer 2025 Sales Intern position at Thomson Reuters offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and competitive sales environment. Interns will work within the Tax & Accounting Professionals segment, focusing on lead generation and setting sales meetings for company events. This paid, full-time internship includes extensive training and professional development, with the potential for a full-time job offer upon completion.

Responsibilities

• Set sales meetings for Thomson Reuters Events and Services
• Generate leads and prospect on whitespace and existing accounts
• Meet or exceed assigned quota of a minimum of 55 contacts per day
• Maintain sales databases with all call and profile activity
• Develop key sales skills, techniques, and product knowledge
• Attend and participate in sales meetings and training sessions
• Learn how Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting products are used in the accounting profession
• Complete client profile data with CRM through telephone contact with the client base

Requirements

• Pursuing a college degree with a major or concentration in Professional Sales, Business, Communication, or related field
• Previous sales internship or participation in a student sales organization is preferred
• Strong communication skills (oral, listening, and written)
• Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and influence others
• High proficiency with MS Office and overall technical skills
• A positive attitude and receptiveness to feedback
• Motivated to succeed and develop personally and professionally
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Dedicated, hard-working, and punctual
