About the position
The Summer 2025 Sales Internship at Thomson Reuters offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a competitive and fun environment. Interns will work within the Tax & Accounting Professionals segment, focusing on setting sales meetings and qualifying leads while receiving extensive training and professional development. This paid, full-time internship runs for 12 weeks, from May 12th to August 1st, 2025, and can potentially lead to a full-time job offer.
Responsibilities
- Set sales meetings for Thomson Reuters Events and Services
- Generate leads and prospect on whitespace and existing accounts
- Meet or exceed assigned quota of a minimum of 55 contacts per day
- Maintain sales databases with all call and profile activity
- Develop key sales skills, techniques, and product knowledge
- Attend and participate in sales meetings and training
- Learn how Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting products are used in the profession
- Complete client profile data with CRM through telephone contact
Requirements
- Pursuing a college degree in Professional Sales, Business, Communication, or a related field
- Previous sales internship or participation in a student sales organization preferred
- Strong communication skills (oral, listening, and written)
- Ability to develop rapport and maintain positive working relationships
- High proficiency with MS Office and overall technical skills
- Positive attitude and receptiveness to feedback
- Motivated to succeed and develop personally and professionally
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Dedicated and hard-working
