About the position
The T-Mobile Secure Federal Operations (TSFO) internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program management while supporting projects that provide connectivity and communication services to US Government agencies. Interns will work closely with various business units to identify and report on costs and risks associated with projects, gaining practical experience in telecommunications and business strategy. This hybrid role requires at least two days a week in the Herndon, VA office and aims to develop skills in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team with tasks related to Program Management.
- Data entry into Salesforce or similar software.
- Formatting, editing, and publishing reports.
- Maintaining and managing project schedules.
Requirements
- Must have graduated within the last 12 months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program.
- Strong communication and writing/editing skills.
- Proficiency with the standard Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Fast learner and self-starter.
- Interest in Program/Project Management.
- Interest in Telecommunications.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- US Citizenship (without dual citizenship) required.
- Must be able to obtain a US security clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Considering obtaining a PM certification.
Benefits
- Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour, based on experience/location.
