The Branch Operations Risk Office is tasked with overseeing the department's business risk by providing essential oversight and guidance. This office acts as the primary liaison for Compliance, Internal Audit, Security, business continuity, and third-party risk management. The Operational Risk team, which reports to the Risk Office, collaborates closely with business partners to implement Branch Operations' strategy aimed at achieving operational soundness while ensuring a high-quality service experience. This is accomplished through various means including quality assurance, procedural monitoring, policy review, and strategic development, all while supporting corporate initiatives to maintain an acceptable risk environment. The overarching objectives of the Branch Operations Risk Office include enhancing risk strategy, embedding risk management into daily business operations, monitoring and improving controls to boost performance results, and optimizing risk management functions. The Summer Associate will play a crucial role in this environment by assisting with the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards that are essential for quality assurance, routine monitoring, and other risk management activities. The role will leverage data to identify trends and opportunities aimed at reducing departmental risk, as well as identify and implement process improvements for internal workstreams. Additionally, the Summer Associate will provide data visualization support for new dashboards, reports, and team presentations, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Risk Office's operations. This internship program spans 12 weeks, commencing in May 2025 and concluding in August 2025, offering students the opportunity to engage in impactful projects and meaningful work during their tenure.
