About the position

The Summer Associate Internship at Navy Federal Credit Union is designed for students pursuing a degree in fields related to adult education, communication, or design. This 12-week program, running from May 2025 to August 2025, offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and documentation within the Fraud Operations group. Interns will work closely with Documentation Specialists to support the maintenance and enhancement of training manuals and documentation processes. Interns will engage in various projects, including updating training manuals to ensure clarity and effectiveness, organizing and formatting training content for improved usability, and documenting complex procedures to ensure they are easily understood and replicable. Additionally, interns will acquire project management skills by coordinating security initiatives, which involves planning, executing, and monitoring project tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks. This internship promises impactful projects that contribute to the overall mission of Navy Federal, providing a meaningful career experience in a supportive and engaged workplace culture.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in adult education, communication, design, or a related field.

  • Ability to research, analyze, and organize concepts effectively.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective English grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.
