About the position

The Summer Associate position is a 12-week internship within Navy Federal's Fraud Operations group, focusing on design and documentation. The role involves supporting the Documentation Specialist in maintaining training manuals and developing project management skills related to security initiatives. Interns will work on enhancing training materials, documenting procedures, and coordinating security projects, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Revise and enhance training materials to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
  • Organize and format training content for usability and accessibility.
  • Document complex procedures accurately for consistency and reliability.
  • Utilize documentation tools to create and manage procedure manuals.
  • Support security project management by planning, executing, and monitoring project tasks.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in adult education, communication, design, or a related field.
  • Basic skills with databases, word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and organize concepts effectively.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective English grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.
