About the position

The Summer Associate Internship in the Savings & Membership - Process Improvement Automated Systems Analyst role focuses on enhancing the efficiency of the Savings and Membership Department through innovative automated solutions. The intern will collaborate with developers to create automated systems, participate in Lean Six Sigma training, and engage in networking opportunities, all aimed at improving member experiences and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Assist junior and senior developers with creating automated solutions
• Participate in peer code review sessions
• Perform research and analysis
• Develop and maintain solution documentation
• Become familiar with Navy Federal Credit Union systems
• Collaborate with teammates across the enterprise

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related degree
• Knowledge of application development including determining, developing, testing, and implementing
• Familiarity with designing, coding, and debugging applications
• Planning and time management skills
• Skill analyzing and organizing problems or work processes for technical solutions
• Skill applying innovative approaches to solve technical design issues
• Skill troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
