About the position

The Summer Associate Internship in the Membership Projects and Process Improvement team at Navy Federal Credit Union is designed for students who are passionate about process improvement and data analytics. The Membership Division aims to position Navy Federal as the preferred financial institution for potential members, and the Projects and Process Improvement team plays a crucial role in achieving this goal by driving efficiency and innovation. The selected intern will assist in revamping the Survivor Support's Case Management System (S3), which is currently operationally disjointed and inefficient. This system is essential for managing deceased member accounts, and the intern will work closely with the Business Unit to identify pain points and bottlenecks in the current workflow. The role involves reviewing existing processes, evaluating proposed improvements against industry best practices, and gathering data to support suggested enhancements. The intern will also create presentations detailing their suggestions and conduct cost/benefit analyses for leadership consideration. Requirements
