As Corporate Training Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with the Learning Management System (LMS) administration, course development, and documentation. This role will provide hands-on experience that will enhance communication, organization, and presentation skills. You will receive project-focused work assignments that will provide exposure to e-learning creation (adding new content to our internal library), content enhancement (auditing and elevating existing course logs and materials), LMS administration (indexing and cataloguing our learning library and enrollments), and creating skill-based learning pathways (via LinkedIn Learning). This internship opportunity is ideal for a student interested in the adult learning industry.

Requirements

  • Must be a current Junior (rising Senior) actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program pursuing a degree in Learning and Development, HR, Education, Instructional Design, Communications or related field.
  • Evidence of strong academic performance in college with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • High attention to detail.

  • Experience in content creation, animation, and/or graphic design.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, changing priorities, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts, upload training courses, and troubleshoot LMS-related issues.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of training content, including storyboarding, instructional design, and quality assurance.
  • Support the development and maintenance of training materials, policies, and procedures, ensuring that all documentation is up to date.
  • Run reports from the LMS to track training progress, participation, and completion rates, and provide insights for improvement.
  • Research and suggest relevant materials (videos, articles, e-learning modules) to enhance course content and employee learning.
  • Assist with data entry, coordination of learning events, maintaining calendars, and preparing presentation materials for training sessions.
