About the position

We are currently seeking a hardworking and determined Electrical Engineering student to join our team as an intern this summer. This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful assignments that can make a difference within the organization. Students will typically be assigned a mentor who will guide them throughout their summer work experience, ensuring that their project assignments are commensurate with their academic background and technical expertise. This internship is not just about completing tasks; it is about gaining real-life applications of classroom knowledge and expanding understanding beyond academic boundaries. Typical roles for our Electrical Engineer interns include Field Support Engineer, Instrument Electrical & Controls Engineer, and Project Engineer. Interns will have the chance to engage in various projects that contribute to the operations of our manufacturing facilities, allowing them to apply their skills in a practical setting. Responsibilities

  • Assist in various engineering projects related to electrical systems.
  • Support field operations by providing technical assistance and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with team members on project design and implementation.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to project discussions.
  • Document project progress and prepare reports as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
  • Currently pursuing or possess a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Available to work a minimum of eight continuous weeks.
  • Willing to work in any of our operating locations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Possess internship or equivalent experience in a related Electrical Engineering job.
