About the position

The Vizient Intern Program is designed to provide collegiate students with a practical experience in the healthcare industry, fostering personal and professional development. This full-time, paid internship offers students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting while being mentored by experienced supervisors. Interns will engage in various tasks, participate in community service projects, and gain exposure to senior leadership, all within an inclusive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze distributor data files.
• Collaborate with the analytics team to pull in additional information.
• Support the Director in implementing distributor initiatives.
• Participate in distributor-facing calls to discuss projects.
• Track and report initiative progress.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a four-year accredited college, university, or graduate program in good academic standing.
• Must have completed the sophomore year as an undergraduate before the start of the internship or recently completed your degree.
• Basic understanding of working in a hybrid environment, workplace ethics, and effective communication.
• Good organization and planning skills, demonstrating effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation based on past work or school experiences.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to analyze and synthesize information for problem-solving.

• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting across the team and potentially with internal Vizient business partners, external members, and suppliers.
