About the position

The CareSource Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. This 12-week, paid summer internship program offers college students the opportunity to gain real-world experience, work on impactful projects, and network with CareSource leaders. Interns will develop Power BI dashboards, collaborate with the Data Engineering team, and assist in data integration and transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Power BI dashboards that aggregate and visualize complex data.
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to design, develop, and implement automated ETL processes.
  • Assist in data integration and transformation efforts, ensuring smooth data flow into Power BI.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on dashboard performance and data trends.
  • Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing Power BI solutions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Current college/university undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited degree program is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Effective listening and critical thinking skills.
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to maintain confidential information.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
