Summer Internship - Omaha, NE

About the position

The Lyman-Richey Corporation is seeking a summer intern to support various areas of the business, including Concrete, Aggregates, and Construction. This internship will provide hands-on experience in Sales, Service & Quality Control, Facility Operations and Dispatch, Accounting, and Fleet Maintenance and Shop Management. The internship is designed to begin at the start of summer school break and run through August, with potential opportunities for limited work during the school year and the possibility of transitioning to full-time or part-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various departments including Sales, Service & Quality Control, Facility Operations and Dispatch, Accounting, and Fleet Maintenance and Shop Management.
• Perform manual labor representative of the construction industry.
• Write reports and analyze raw data as required.
• Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel to different facilities and job sites as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be enrolled in high school, vocational, technical, or college degree program.
• Willingness and eagerness to learn about the construction industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
