About the position

The Summer Sales Intern position at Paychex is designed for students who are eager to gain practical experience in sales and marketing. This role involves collaborating with experienced sales leaders to present Paychex products and services to prospective clients, while also engaging in various sales activities to support the growth of the client base.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with our elite sales team to present prospective clients with solutions that make their lives easier and their businesses more successful
• Presenting products and services of Paychex to final decision makers and end users within the prospect universe
• Prospecting for new clients and new referral sources utilizing the telephone, direct mail, seminars, current client visits, or other local marketing programs directed by Sales management
• Assisting the Sales Leaders with Networking Events and Trade Shows
• Researching industry leaders, competitive data, and marketing strategies
• Assisting in the management and reporting of client relationship management

Requirements

• A Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited College/ University - Required
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or any related major - Required
• A high-level interest in sales and marketing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
