Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of customer service representatives, fostering a cohesive work unit through encouragement and accountability.

  • Mentor and coach team members to ensure performance standards are met and customer experience is improved.
  • Utilize leadership skills to motivate the customer service team to take action and develop solutions for customer issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with some college coursework in business or a related field; equivalent experience is acceptable.
  • 5-7 years of customer service or call center experience.
  • Proficiency in personal and computer software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Effective communication, supervision, organization, and time management skills.
  • Leadership abilities, equitable treatment of team members, multitasking, adaptability, and dependability.
  • Knowledge of customer relations functions, applicable products and services, and general accounting and billing procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
