The Production Management role at TD SYNNEX involves overseeing the operations of programmable products within a defined scope of responsibility. This includes managing processes such as integration assembly, device programming, PC integration and configuration, testing, technical repair, planning, and quality assurance. The position is crucial in ensuring that high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient services are provided to meet both current and future demands. The role requires optimizing facility utilization, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and providing oversight for human resource, financial, and operational activities. In this position, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various hardware and electronic components according to standard build and customized specifications, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and processes. You will produce customer-approved first article semiconductor devices, integrate and configure PC hardware, operating system software, and peripherals, and develop and implement quality assurance procedures. Evaluating quality deviations to determine their causes and corrective measures is also a key responsibility. Regular surveys of customers regarding shipment accuracy, product quality, process efficiency, and overall customer experience will be conducted to ensure satisfaction. Maintaining a safe and compliant work area is essential, including adherence to Electro Static Discharge (ESD) requirements. You will ensure that equipment is safe, well-maintained, and calibrated to meet military, ISO, and other quality standards. Participation in the evaluation and implementation of new equipment or enhancements is expected. Additionally, you will create, review, and present various statistical, narrative, and financial reports, assessing productivity measures and monitoring departmental activity. This role coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support teams, setting priorities to ensure task completion and coordinating with other supervisors as necessary. Decisions made in this role will have a direct impact on work unit operations, and erroneous decisions could lead to delays and increased resource allocation.
