About the position

The Sr Cyber Security Operation Analyst position is a hybrid role based in New Hydepark, NY, focused on enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture through policy development and the implementation of various security technologies. This long-term project requires expertise in data loss prevention, endpoint detection and response, and security information and event management, among other critical areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Manage and monitor data loss prevention (DLP) strategies.
• Utilize endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools to protect systems.
• Oversee security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Implement and manage antivirus (AV) products and cloud security solutions.
• Monitor and respond to alerts from intrusion detection systems (IDS).

Requirements

• Proven experience in policy development related to cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of data loss prevention (DLP) techniques.
• Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
• Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Knowledge of antivirus (AV) products and cloud security solutions.
