Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with subcontract agreements.
• Manage security installation projects involving 5 to 10 personnel.
• Confer with senior management and contractors to resolve work procedures and construction problems.
• Schedule projects logically to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
• Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to project sites.
• Plan and direct activities related to construction and maintenance of structures and systems.
• Interpret plans and contract terms for staff and clients.
• Negotiate changes to contractual agreements with various stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor Foremen and Technicians, preparing them for promotion.
• Monitor project budgets to ensure positive cash flow and profitability.
• Inspect projects for compliance with building and safety codes.
• Evaluate performance of Foremen and technicians.
• Interface with engineering teams to ensure design efficiency.
• Read blueprints and statements of work (SOW).
• Coordinate with field personnel to address installation issues.
• Suggest process improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Plan equipment and material needs for timely delivery.
• Maintain organized project records and provide status updates to management.

Requirements

• Public Trust clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
• High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in the field.
• At least seven years of experience in electronic security projects valued over $500k.
• Experience in the Security Industry and managing security projects.
• Experience installing conduit and wiring systems.
• Knowledge of Access Control and Video Management Systems programming and testing.
• Common knowledge of basic Network Infrastructure.
• Experience with management systems for scheduling and job costing.
• Proficiency in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Certification in Access Control Systems, particularly Lenel OnGuard.
• Certification in Video Management Systems.
• 30-hour OSHA Certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
