About the position

The Superintendent - Electrical at Fisk Electric is a leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects, ensuring safety compliance, and managing subcontractors and field forces on-site. This position requires effective communication with various stakeholders and the ability to maintain accurate project schedules and cost reports.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site.
• Maintain project safety in accordance with the Company's Safety Policy.
• Oversee multiple jobs and manpower for each job.
• Develop and update the project schedule.
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedules.
• Update project schedules utilizing computerized scheduling software.
• Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors.
• Coordinate the work of the subcontractors' field forces.
• Communicate effectively with owners, designers, and engineers.
• Maintain accurate cost reports.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 8 years of commercial construction experience is required.
• Experience managing others with a proven history of leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring successfully.
• Experience with Conest and Accubid Software.
• Experience with project management and scheduling software (e.g., JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, Asta).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
