About the position

The Superintendent for Fire Alarm at Century Fire Protection LLC is responsible for managing the profitability and crew production of alarm system installations and services. This role involves overseeing project schedules, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that installations and services are completed on time and within budget. The Superintendent will also coordinate with various stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update weekly, 3-month, and 6-month job schedules, tracking project milestones.
• Hire and supervise field crews and coordinate their schedules, managing labor hours and costs.
• Coordinate material deliveries and monitor all job-related costs.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate inspections and test dates.
• Represent the company in meetings with general contractors, owners, property managers, and regulatory agencies.
• Manage multiple projects and adapt to changing conditions to meet contract schedules.
• Attend project kick-off meetings and collaborate with the Project Manager and design team on specifications and change orders.
• Complete and maintain truck tool inventories.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of related experience and/or training in fire alarm systems or similar fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) II or III Certification is a plus.
