About the position

The Construction Superintendent at Choate Construction Company is responsible for on-site field administration and technical management of all construction operations. This role involves direct supervision of assistants, foremen, subcontractors, and other personnel, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in a safe work environment. The Superintendent plays a crucial role in planning, coordination, and execution of construction work, embodying the company's commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field administration and supervision for construction operations.
• Directly supervise assistants, foremen, subcontractors, and other construction personnel.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute construction work on time and within budget.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promote safety practices.

Requirements

• Eight (8) to ten (10) years of construction experience.
• Possess a valid OSHA 30 certification.
• Proficient in Suretrak or MS Project scheduling software.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
