About the position

The position involves overseeing the field coordination, quality control, and supervision of subcontracted workforces for construction projects. The role requires maintaining project schedules, preparing reports, and ensuring safety standards are adhered to on-site. The individual will work closely with project managers and client representatives to review project progress and manage large projects that may involve multiple superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project schedule and accurately report project status.
• Coordinate field activities and supervise subcontracted workforces for construction projects.
• Review project status and progress with the Project Manager and client representatives regularly.
• Ensure safety standards are implemented and adhered to by all personnel on-site.
• Direct subcontractor activities within ground-up residential projects.
• Analyze manpower, material, and equipment requirements and coordinate with the supervising superintendent.
• Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and work rules established by field construction management.
• Prepare reports and forecasts as required, keeping supervisors informed on progress.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Experience in high-end amenities is a plus.
• Some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
