About the position

The Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician role at Walmart involves maintaining and repairing refrigeration HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration systems, supporting store associates, and responding to maintenance calls in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety policies and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
