About the position

The Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician role at Walmart involves maintaining and repairing refrigeration HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities. This position requires hands-on skills in commercial HVAC and refrigeration, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing prompt responses to maintenance calls in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
