About the position

The Supervising Community Manager at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) will oversee the daily operations of a 165-unit Class A apartment community located near Estacada, Oregon. This role requires a blend of strong sales and team-leading abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills. The community boasts a variety of amenities, including a pool and spa, enhancing the living experience for residents. The Supervising Community Manager will be responsible for a wide range of property management tasks, including marketing the property, maintaining its integrity, screening prospective residents, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports, preparing agreements, and supervising and training all property employees. The manager will have a dedicated office space to manage staff and conduct work efficiently. This position is full-time, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. The role also includes a monthly cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement, ensuring that the manager has the necessary tools to perform their duties effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day property management operations.
  • Market the property to attract prospective residents.
  • Maintain property integrity and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Screen prospective residents and manage the leasing process.
  • Collect rents and serve notices as required.
  • Develop and prepare reports on property performance.
  • Prepare agreements and manage lease documentation.
  • Supervise and train all property employees.
  • Handle after-hours emergencies as needed.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of previous customer service experience.
  • Two (2) years of previous property management experience.
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of previous supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Entrata Property Management Software is preferred.
  • Basic experience with MS365 including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks such as collecting rent and preparing reports.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail.
  • Understanding of landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and safety protocols.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between properties.
  • Current valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with property management software other than Entrata.
  • Advanced skills in MS365 applications.
