About the position

Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is seeking a Supervising Community Manager to oversee a 165-unit Class A apartment community located near the Estacada area in Gresham, OR. This role requires a candidate with strong sales and team-leading abilities, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills. The Supervising Community Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property, which includes marketing the community, maintaining property integrity, screening prospective residents, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports, preparing agreements, and supervising and training all property employees. The position offers a separate office for managing staff and conducting work-related tasks. The Supervising Community Manager will work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a total of 40 contracted hours per week. The salary for this position ranges from $56,160 to $62,400, depending on experience. Additional compensation includes a monthly $50 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day property management of a 165-unit apartment community.
  • Market the property to attract prospective residents.
  • Maintain property integrity and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Screen prospective residents and manage the leasing process.
  • Collect rents and serve notices as necessary.
  • Develop reports and prepare agreements related to property management.
  • Supervise and train all property employees to ensure effective operations.
  • Manage a separate office for staff management and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of previous customer service experience.
  • Two (2) years of previous property management experience.
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of previous supervisory experience.
  • Basic experience with MS365 including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks involving collecting rent and preparing reports and agreements.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail.
  • Understanding of landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, and Fair Housing Laws.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between properties.
  • A current valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous Entrata Property Management Software experience is preferred.
  • Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
