Program Summary The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces. Job Summary Coordinates Program requirements and monitors performance of the section. Maintains close liaison with technical and support personnel. Coordinates normal operational and administrative activities. Recommends improvements in the operations processes. Provides work assignments and schedules. Ensures plans, policies, and procedures are implemented and followed. Ensures personnel have appropriate training. Provides direction and discipline to employees and is responsible for the evaluation of personnel performance and salary actions. Performs all other duties as assigned. BA/BS degree in a related field with 5 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, 13 years of experience. Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail. Basic Qualifications Supervises and coordinates the activities of employees performing property accounting, acquisitions, material requirements planning, and account management functions in support of Marine Corps operations. Responsible for executing the account management; to include account for and tracking of equipment using account records as required to support MPS operations. Manage, direct and supervise personnel as assigned. Determine the type and sequence of work assigned on the basis of work priority and availability of inventory and supplies. Inspect work performed to ensure compliance with established procedures and strict time schedules. Works closely with other branches to coordinate receiving, LTI, reporting, shipping and transporting of retrograde assets. Coordinate with other Supervisors to ensure a close integration of processes, procedures and operations. Ensure compliance with administrative, and government directives. Duties include requirements planning, analysis, inventory records management, stock replenishment, allowance item management, DASF management, report analysis, project development, report and brief metrics, prepare/document instructions and procedures in strict compliance with local procedures, Statement of Work and Marine Corps directives.
