About the position

The Supervisor - Area Operations at ONEOK is responsible for leading and directing the activities of Operators and Technicians in the operational and maintenance activities at pipeline terminals and stations. This role emphasizes safety, compliance, and system integrity while coordinating product movements and managing projects to meet business objectives. The supervisor will oversee terminal operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage costs, and develop employee capabilities within the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the activities of Operators and Technicians.
• Champion safety, compliance, and System Integrity Plan efforts.
• Coordinate product movements and mainline operations with interconnecting pipeline companies and carriers.
• Review, develop, and manage plans and projects to accomplish business objectives.
• Review and approve expenditures and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
• Develop emergency preparedness and response protocols.
• Mentor and coach employees, completing performance appraisals.
• Manage performance metrics regarding equipment reliability and product quality.
• Forecast expenses and manage budgetary commitments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 6 - 10 years of related work experience in terminal or pipeline operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work under time pressure and in stressful conditions.
• Proficient in using a personal computer and multi-line phone system.
