About the position

The Supervisor, Business Solutions at Horizon Media is responsible for guiding a team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions, ensuring consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation. This role involves overseeing junior team members, managing client relationships, and leading account management efforts to ensure successful campaign execution. The position emphasizes strategic planning, team supervision, and relationship management, contributing to the overall success of client projects and the development of team members.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow clients' brands.
  • Lead research initiatives to aid in consumer insight gathering and strategic planning.
  • Assist senior leadership with the implementation and development of media briefs and client presentations.
  • Responsible for all channel wrap-up reports, collaborating with activation teams to apply findings to future strategies.
  • Share evolving media trends and opportunities with peers and clients.
  • Oversee junior team members' engagement with other departments and set project timelines.
  • Promote the work of team members and manage their performance through coaching and training.
  • Build and maintain relationships with core clients and industry partners.
  • Anticipate client requests and troubleshoot with internal teams to provide solutions.
  • Lead calls and establish yourself as a lead point of contact.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and managing media account projects.
  • Experience utilizing multiple media channels.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics, and concepts.
  • Prior experience in a client contact and leadership role.
  • Strong mentorship experience in developing media professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and media research/reporting resources.
