About the position

The Supervisor of Call Center Operations in Claims Processing is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Support Services department, with a strong focus on customer service supervision. This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines, as well as managing reporting functions. The position emphasizes the importance of leadership and effective communication within a patient-focused care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Support Services department.
  • Ensure compliance with AB1455 and CMS guidelines.
  • Manage reporting functions to maintain departmental policy and procedures.
  • Supervise customer service operations within the claims processing team.
  • Foster a culture of patient-focused care and mutual respect among team members.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience as a Claims Examiner in an IPA, Medical Group, or Health Plan.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and AB1455 regulations.
  • 2 years of customer service experience within the healthcare/insurance industry.
  • Experience in leadership and facilitation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of experience in medical/institutional claims examining within a medical group/IPA setting.
  • Claims processing experience.
  • Experience with Access, Teleform, and IDX.
