About The Position

The Supervisor in Client Advisory Services (CAS) at HORNE LLP plays a crucial role in the Public and Middle Markets group, overseeing a diverse range of CAS assignments under the guidance of Managers, Directors, and Partners. This position is designed for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality work while adhering to accounting standards and meeting project deadlines. The Supervisor is expected to develop strong working relationships with clients, ensuring top-notch service and striving for technical excellence and team success. In this role, the Supervisor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. They will manage the day-to-day accounting operations, which encompass accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. The Supervisor must ensure that all operations are conducted with timeliness, accuracy, quality, compliance, and adherence to professional standards. They will work independently, anticipating potential issues and collaborating with Managers and Partners to stay informed about significant developments. The Supervisor will communicate project progress, address problems, and propose solutions to clients, contributing insights based on industry trends. They will also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of data entry and management, building relationships with clients throughout the year, and monitoring time budgets. This position promotes a culture of continuous learning and leadership development, requiring the Supervisor to demonstrate a progression in managing increasingly complex projects. The work environment is flexible, allowing for both in-office and remote work. However, the role does require some travel, estimated at up to 15%.
