About the position

The Supervisor Case Management position at ChildNet, Inc. involves overseeing the daily operations of case management functions, providing guidance and support to Dependency Case Managers. Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of case management functions.
  • Hire, train, and motivate Dependency Case Managers.
  • Provide guidance and assistance in the completion of court reports by Dependency Case Managers.
  • Support Dependency Case Managers in identifying and removing administrative obstacles to child placement permanency.
  • Ensure work objectives assigned to team members align with the organization's values and mission.
  • Maintain record-keeping and documentation in accordance with laws and organizational practices.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, including permanency conferences and court hearings.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Department of Children and Families and other related agencies.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in Human Services or Child Welfare programs.
  • Previous experience as a Case Manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Child Welfare Professional Certification.
