About the position

Provides front line support and resource to the department Case Managers including facilitating patient throughput, Associate performance, teamwork and performance improvement activities. Acts as a resource and liaison to other Hospital and external customers about case management matters. Provides accountability for planning, execution, and oversight of department educational needs. May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current CA RN License
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required within 2 years of hire into the Operations Supervisor, Case Management position
• One to two years' experience in Leadership, Discharge Planning, and Utilization review
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong clinical skills through past clinical experience

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
• National Case Management Certification
