This position is full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Employees are required to work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home. We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily / weekly / monthly activities of team members including setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met
- Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc.
- Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
- Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action
Requirements
- High School diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 5+ years of experience analyzing and solving problems in an office, claims or customer service environment
- 2+ years of medical claims, appeals, or grievance experience
- 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Healthcare experience
- Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Ability to work between the hours of 6:00am - 6:00pm
