About the position

The Supervisor of Data Architecture at HonorHealth is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) solutions. This role involves analyzing data, performing ETL operations, developing data models, and providing guidance and mentorship to staff. The position also includes project management responsibilities, ensuring data accuracy, and overseeing vendor relationships, all while contributing to the overall mission of improving healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) solutions.
  • Analyze data and perform Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) operations.
  • Develop data models and interact with staff to provide guidance and mentorship.
  • Plan projects, manage dependencies, and perform upgrade/maintenance work.
  • Create and troubleshoot database tables, views, stored procedures, and data marts.
  • Implement data models following Late-Binding design methodology and best practices.
  • Create metrics, patient registries, and predictive models based on clinical and business rules.
  • Oversee processes to ensure data accuracy within the data warehouse and Datalakes environments.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee agreements with suppliers.
  • Communicate and respond to customer needs based on severity levels.
  • Complete governance and project job assignments to achieve established milestones.
  • Assist the director in day-to-day operational oversight and coaching of junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Finance, a licensed Clinical discipline, or a related discipline.
  • 7 years of experience in Healthcare, IT, or Financial sectors.
  • 6 years of experience in data modeling, report development, or data warehouse design.
  • 6 years of experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing/Datalakes architectural assessment and product roadmap.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with healthcare data standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks.
