About the position

The Supervisor, Event Operations at Universal Orlando is responsible for overseeing the execution of special events, ensuring high standards of guest and team member satisfaction while maintaining safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership skills, analytical abilities, and effective collaboration with various departments to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of special events, including corporate and marquee events.
  • Supervise and develop hourly team members through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain a physical presence during event execution to ensure client and guest satisfaction.
  • Complete administrative duties related to events and operations, ensuring readiness before, during, and after events.
  • Drive initiatives for guest and team member satisfaction and safety.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities according to company policies.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED is required; college degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience within the Event industry and knowledge of Event Operations.
