About the position

The Supervisor Field Operations at Glo Fiber is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the installation operations for fiber optic broadband services. This role involves managing a team of technicians and installers, ensuring efficient scheduling of installations, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The supervisor will also support special projects and repairs as needed, contributing to the overall success of the installation process and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct assigned technicians, installers, and repair professionals.
• Manage the scheduling of both buried and aerial fiber optic installations.
• Ensure network integrity and superior customer service during installations.
• Support special projects and assist with repairs when necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in utility operations in an installation function or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience in construction or project management preferred.
• Experience in construction, utility operations, or telephony is essential.
• Competent in common computer programs and applications such as MS Office.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in broadband fiber preferred.
