About the position

The Supervisor Flight Attendants at Southwest Airlines is responsible for overseeing the performance and professional standards of Flight Attendants at the Oakland Inflight Base. This role involves evaluating job performance, enforcing company policies, and serving as the primary contact for Flight Attendants. The Supervisor is expected to lead, mentor, and support the team while fostering a culture of inclusion and recognition within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to Inflight base employees.
• Coach and counsel Flight Attendants on behavior, performance, and appearance issues.
• Maintain knowledge of the F/A Manual, Work & Conduct Rules, and Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Attend required Leadership annual training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with all work rules and regulations.
• Implement Flight Attendant recognition and awards programs.
• Conduct i360/Flight Attendant Boarding Performance assessments and liaise with Leaders and Employees in assigned cities.
• Qualify and maintain all active requirements of a Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant.
• Perform data entry of Flight Attendant personal files.
• Execute other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in leading teams or individuals.
• Ability to read and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements and enforce work rules.
• Knowledge of airline operations and licensing/certification requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
