About the position

The Supervisor of Hub Administration at Envoy Air Inc. is responsible for managing the coordination of operations within a designated functional area, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance with federal regulations. This role involves overseeing compliance-related tasks, ensuring team training is up-to-date, and supervising the Environmental Department Coordinator. The position also includes administrative duties, agent observations, and maintaining inventory control, all while providing outstanding service in a fast-paced airline environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage coordination of overall operations within an assigned functional area.
  • Focus on safety and compliance with EGOM and federal regulations.
  • Oversee compliance-related items to ensure they are current.
  • Ensure all training is current for the team on a regular basis.
  • Monitor AA ICM audit oversight of all required functions and ensure documentation is completed in accordance with ICM guidelines.
  • Supervise the Environmental Department Coordinator to ensure all regulations and environmental oversight of the station are current.
  • Conduct agent observations and associated activities, facilitating local training programs, scheduling, and manpower utilization.
  • Maintain supplies/inventory control logs.
  • Prepare customer correspondence, investigate discrepancies, and compile statistical data for reports.
  • Assist management in the completion of administrative duties and perform agent work as required.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform all duties under sometimes stressful conditions.
  • Must be subjected to engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, engine noise, and de-icing fluids.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
  • Must be GSC and Environmental qualified.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English; Spanish preferred in Caribbean bases.
  • Demonstrates above average qualities of leadership, initiative, and judgment.
  • Must perform job functions in variable weather and environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to lift bags weighing up to 75lbs.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.
