About the position

The Supervisor of Imaging Services at Mercy Ardmore is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality imaging patient care. This role involves managing the operations of the imaging department, optimizing resource utilization, and meeting productivity and financial goals. The supervisor will work collaboratively with administrative personnel, physicians, and staff to enhance communication and improve processes across the health system, all while adhering to Mercy's mission and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assure the delivery of safe and high-quality imaging patient care.
• Manage the operations of imaging department(s).
• Ensure efficient utilization of available resources and meet productivity and financial goals.
• Meet customer satisfaction goals.
• Collaborate effectively with administrative personnel, physicians, and staff from other areas to enhance communication and improve processes.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Holds American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Cat Scan, Ultrasound, or MRI certification or equivalent and active registration in Radiology.
• Document the equivalent of two years full-time professional experience as a Radiographer.
• Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period.
• Proficient in supervision, instruction, and evaluation.
• Capable of manipulating X-ray equipment and selecting exposure factors.
• Ability to evaluate radiographs and lift, move, and transport patients.
