About the position

The Supervisor Inflight Performance at JetBlue Airways is responsible for coaching and guiding Inflight Crewmembers to enhance dependability and foster a high-performance culture. This role involves overseeing Crewmember performance, ensuring adherence to dependability policies, and collaborating with various leaders to improve operational efficiency and consistency across the network. The Supervisor will conduct performance-related meetings, develop corrective action plans, and engage in constructive dialogues with Crewmembers to address performance issues and promote a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and lead investigatory meetings for performance and dependability concerns.
  • Collaborate with Inflight Base/General Managers and other leaders to enhance Crewmember performance.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans based on performance metrics.
  • Refine processes and protocols to improve performance and dependability.
  • Engage in transparent dialogues with Crewmembers regarding their performance.
  • Review documentation and determine disciplinary outcomes.
  • Foster positive relationships with Crewmembers through effective communication and recognition programs.
  • Lead performance-related projects to elevate the performance culture.
  • Participate in Leadership Flying and assist during Irregular Operations (IROPs).
  • Review Crewmembers' absences under Federal and State Leave Entitlements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three years of customer service or airline experience, or one year of JetBlue Customer Experience (CEX) experience
  • One year of Leadership or Supervision experience, preferably in the Airline industry
  • Ability to maintain self-discipline and function with minimal supervision
  • Well-versed in policies, standard practices, and contractual agreements
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster open relations with Crewmembers
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerApps
  • Ability to travel for company meetings (30%)

Nice-to-haves

  • Two years of Leadership or Supervision experience in the Airline industry
  • Experience working on company projects in the airline industry
  • Successfully completed JetBlue Airways Inflight Training Program
  • Working knowledge of Crew Trac
  • Union experience
  • Ability to obtain an Inflight Crew qualification
