About the position

The Supervisory Intelligence Operations Specialist position within the Office of Counterintelligence at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) is designed to lead a team of intelligence analysts. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and assessing foreign intelligence threats to U.S. critical technologies and information, ensuring the protection of sensitive data within the cleared national industrial base. This role involves overseeing intelligence analysis, managing professional growth of analysts, and representing the agency in various interagency meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a cadre of intelligence analysts responsible for identifying and assessing foreign intelligence threats to U.S. critical technologies.
  • Oversee and manage intelligence analysts' professional growth and performance, ensuring achievement of established goals and objectives.
  • Collect, evaluate, develop, and maintain intelligence databases required to prepare analyses, reports, projections, and briefings.
  • Conduct intelligence analysis and production concerning foreign intelligence entity targeting of information, technology, and personnel in cleared industry.
  • Identify methods of operation, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and probable courses of action of foreign intelligence entities.
  • Review, interpret, manage, and correlate data for analytical products and provide actionable intelligence to partner agencies.
  • Represent the CI Directorate in various DCSA conferences, meetings, and interagency groups.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Experience in the intelligence field with knowledge of new methods, approaches, and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and analyses orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of community analytical tools, software, and data sources.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive program or project plans for complex research projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of IC Analytic Integrity Standards and structured analytic techniques.
  • Knowledge of CI organizations and offices in all DoD Components.
  • Experience in policy development and metrics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in leading teams in a government or military environment.
  • Familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
