About The Position

The Supervisor of IS Applications at Providence is responsible for overseeing the application staff, ensuring the successful implementation and support of applications within the organization. This role focuses on maintaining relationships with key business partners, managing day-to-day operations, and supporting the strategic goals of the department. The supervisor will mentor and develop application analysts, ensuring the integrity of application builds and infrastructure while promoting a culture of patient-focused care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Information Services.
• 2 years of Information Service Leadership experience.
• 4 years of working in a healthcare environment or 7 years of application analyst experience in healthcare systems.

Nice To Haves

• Epic Experience preferred with a focus on Imaging or Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and supervision of the application staff.
• Maintain relationships with key business partners and leaders specific to their customer service line.
• Manage the day-to-day applications team and its technology to ensure effective service delivery.
• Support the departmental and IS budget expectations and goals through management of the team.
• Attract, hire, train, motivate, retain, and develop a team of professionals for applications management.
• Ensure compliance with department-specific policies and procedures for applications.
• Evaluate the performance of services based on specific KPIs and support process improvement initiatives.
